I. C. Elio Vittorini - Messina
The “E. Comprehensive Institute” Vittorini” implements and creates services for the school population that are efficient and
capable of involving pupils and teachers. The strategy undertaken three years ago has increased the school population by
over 200 units. The school follows the needs and requirements of the territory and the complex society in which it is located.
The Elio Vittorini Institute is in a tough multicultural, multi-ethnic fabric that seeks technological development and
competitive education. The school is made up of over 650 students whose ages range from 3 to 13 years. The teaching
group comprises around 100 people with permanent contracts, only some of them work part-time and complete their
teaching hours in other schools in the area. The vision of the Elio Vittorini Comprehensive Institute is that of
internationalization not only by activating Erasmus projects but also with specific courses on language certifications, and
cultural exchanges with pupils.S

Zespół Kształcenia i Wychowania w Rozłazinie is a secondary school whose primary goal is to improve the quality of life and educational conditions for all children, including those with disabilities and those from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as their families, at both local and national levels. The school strives to provide high-quality education in a welcoming and friendly environment, inspiring students to grow and flourish as individuals. Over the past two years, the integration of STEAM-based activities into classroom teaching has been identified as a key priority. Science teachers, in particular, implement a range of studies and instructional practices designed to ensure that students fully benefit from the advantages offered by the STEAM education model.
The school is a newly established public institution serving approximately 200 students and 30 teachers. Its mission focuses on leadership development, mastery of the Common Core standards, and the cultivation of meaningful, lifelong relationships. The school is committed to providing a safe and disciplined learning environment that empowers all students to reach their full potential. Strong emphasis is placed on developing leadership skills that enable students to succeed in any endeavor they choose to pursue. Success is not measured solely by winning; instead, students are encouraged to embrace and apply the “win–win” philosophy in their daily lives. The adoption of common academic standards ensures a consistent focus on appropriate content learning and prepares students for graduation. Equally important is the modeling of meaningful and lasting relationships, which are intended to guide students throughout their lives. While maintaining its own distinctive mission, the school also aligns itself with the district’s mission of empowering students within a safe and disciplined educational environment.
